Renovation of an existing 40,000 sq. ft. industrial tilt-up building as the headquarter offices and clinic for this healthcare provider. An interior courtyard was opened by removing part of the roof to bring daylight to the interior and provide outside space for office workers in this industrial, freeway-close neighborhood. Security issues regarding the building perimeter and the safety of patients and staff were strong considerations in the design. Recipient of a 2009 AIA/LA Citation Award for Excellence in Architectural Design.
